Weston Lake makes it easy to get the feeling of the great outdoors getaway without the drive. Located on Fort Jackson, only a short 5 minute drive from Gate 5, Weston Lake Recreation Area feels like a world apart from your regular workday world. Weston Lake has you covered whether it is a place for an afternoon picnic, a waterfront cabin for a long weekend, an air conditioned building big enough to house the largest of family reunions or a place to park an RV.

All Weston Lake cabins are lake front. All have color TV, microwave, stove, refrigerator, and basic dining and cooking equipment, and restrooms with showers.We are unable to accommodate pets in or around our cabins.
No Smoking in cabins.
A refundable cleaning and damage fee of $200 is required at reservation.Check-in: 3 p.m. Check-out: 11 a.m.

All RV sites are full hook-up (30/50amp, sewage, water) and back-in sites (holds up to 50 ft.).
Communal campground bathhouse with hot showers and flush toilets. Pets welcome in Travel Camp and tent area when on 6’ leash and attended by owner. Pet owners are responsible for their pet at all times. Extended stay available ONLY for active duty with PCS orders and /or schooling on Fort Jackson.Shelters

Reservation Policy: We are open to Military, DoD, 100% DAV and their accompanied guests only. A refundable cleaning and damage fee is required at reservation.Cabin reservations may be made up to 90 days in advance for active duty military and 60 days for all other authorized patrons. Community House and picnic shelters can be reserved 2 years in advance. Cabin occupancy is limited to those individuals staying in the cabin. Parties or other gatherings will not be held. In the event a party or gathering is held, occupants will be asked to leave with no refund of fees or deposit given.
All boat rentals are due back in 1 hour before closing. No rentals 1 hour before closing. Fishing on Weston Lake requires both state license and post permit. Fort Jackson license can be acquired through iSportman.
Reservation Refund Policy: Full refunds will be offered for cancellations up to 48 hours or more prior to reservation check-in. Cancellations within 48 hours of reservation check-in will result in forfeiture of the first day’s rental fees for all rentals.
Boat/motor rentals customers are not required to complete a Boater Safety Course but it is strongly recommended. You can complete the course and get your certification card at:

Want to get away, but still like the creature comforts like air conditioning, hot water and a nice bed to sleep in, check out the cabins at Weston Lake. We have several sizes with options to fit any budget. Most cabins are on the waterfront and include sheets, bedspreads, and towels. Bring some groceries and prepare your meals in the fully stocked kitchens.

Got a get together that needs some indoor space to beat the South Carolina summer heat? Our Community House can handle up to 400 seated guests and has separate restrooms and a kitchen preparation area. With a little time, imagination and your own decorations you can turn it into the meeting place of your dreams.
- Beach and Boats

Play a little sand volleyball or climb around on one of the state of the art playgrounds. Or take a spin on one of our self-powered craft, paddleboats, kayaks, and canoes.
Swimming opens on May 20. Swimming at Weston Lake is swim at your own risk. No lifeguards on duty.
- Picnic Shelters

Weston Lake also has covered shelters with picnic tables to fit most any group. Come and enjoy your own reserved area to get a little shade and find sanctuary for those pesky afternoon showers South Carolina is famous for.
Weston Lake is for the Military and their Guests. Sorry we are not open to the general public, you need to be an authorized patron to utilize these facilities.
