The Linking Families Event is a community event meant to have a great day at the zoo, and to promote the Month of the Military Child, Military Spouse Appreciation, Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness, and Sexual Assault Prevention and Awareness. In addition to free park entrance (9am to 5pm, show your Common Access Card at the ticket booth) we will also be at the Pioneer Pavilion from 10-2 along with numerous military support agencies distributing information, prizes, and free cake. Don’t forget to take part in the scavenger hunt! Please see the attached flyer for details and participating agencies.
The splash pad will be open so you may want to bring a towel and a dry shirt for the adventurous.
