A Program about the unwanted spread of light pollution and ways to save the night. Following the Presentation visitors will be shuttled to a star viewing party at 2040 on Colonels Hill (Armitage Drive). A tour will be provided of the universe waiting for twilight to turn to full darkness.
Bring your camp chairs, blankets, and fascination for the sky.
No light is best but if bringing a flashlight, red light is preferred. Have a telescope? Bring it to Armitage Drive at 1830 for setup and help from the astronomy department!
